For your consideration is this Stanley 9-1/2 block plane with Sweetheart iron, likely from the mid-1930s. It is in very good condition, showing minor wear (see photos), but nothing is missing nor has any part been replaced as far as I can tell. The iron is sharp. This plane is a good user – ready to go straight to work.Some observations:
– Most (± 90%) of the original Japanning remains
– All adjustments move and work smoothly
– No cracks, rust, pitting or repairs
– The original iron has plenty of useful life remaining
