Up for sale is a rare vintage original advertising cardboard hand fan from "Sunshine Laundry & Dry Cleaning," formerly located in Salisbury, Maryland.
The front showcases a beautiful, vibrant Art Deco era color lithograph portrait of a glamorous woman against a deep blue background. The reverse side features the business name, vintage telephone number (379), and a charming promotional message encouraging patrons to free themselves from "wash-day drudgery" during the hot summer days. The lower reverse edge bears the official manufacturer mark: "Gettier-Montanye Inc., Baltimore MD."

CONDITION:
Pre-owned vintage condition with character wear. The main color graphic remains vibrant and displays beautifully. There is a horizontal crease/crack in the cardboard on the lower left side of the face portrait, some edge wear, minor chipping/scuffing along the top border, and light age spotting/speckling on the right side of the blue background.
