Vintage Staten Island Coach Co Bus R114 Port Richmond 8x10 Darkroom Print For Sale

Up for sale is a high-quality, handmade 8x10 traditional darkroom photographic print featuring a classic, atmospheric scene of early public transit in New York City. The photograph captures a Staten Island Coach Company bus marked Bus No. 191 on the R114 route, heading towards Port Richmond via Great Kills. This is not a digital inkjet or laser print. It is a genuine, modern darkroom print developed directly from a negative, ensuring the rich tonal gradations, deep black contrast, and long-term archival permanence that only traditional silver-halide photography can deliver.🚌 Historical BackgroundThe Staten Island Coach Company operated independent bus lines across Richmond County during the 1930s and 1940s, replacing old streetcar tracks with motorized coaches. The R114 line specifically connected vital north-south thoroughfares on the island.
