Title: Vintage Mid-Century Stanhome Faux-Wood Turtle Coaster Set (2 Pieces)
Description:
Up for sale is a wonderful, highly unique pair of vintage mid-century figural turtle coasters featuring removable stamped aluminum inserts.
The decorative outer bases are molded out of a heavy faux-wood resin composite to resemble realistic turtles with textured shells and flippers. Snugly fitted inside each turtle is a vintage, original Stanhome stamped aluminum coaster—originally given away as promotional hostess gifts at Stanley Home Products parties during the 1950s and 1960s. The inserts feature the iconic embossed country home logo and the banner reading "STANHOME - A STANLEY HOME PRODUCT".
Condition: Good vintage pre-owned condition with beautiful molded details. The aluminum inserts show light, normal signs of age-appropriate use/patina. Please review all photos closely as they form part of the visual description. Flat bottoms ensure they rest completely level on your bar or coffee table. Perfect addition to any MCM tiki bar, advertising collection, or retro table setting!
