Charming lot of three complete vintage playing-card decks featuring romantic floral and cherub designs.
Included:
• Stancraft deck with cherub, pink rose and lavender background
• Stancraft deck with cherub, pink rose and blue background
• Unbranded deck with a red rose bouquet design, marked “Litho in U.S.A.”
The cards feature decorative gold-colored edges. The two cherub decks are marked Stancraft on the aces. Stancraft was a division of Standard Packaging Corporation in St. Paul, Minnesota.
All three decks are complete and show age-related wear from previous use, including discoloration, worn edges, surface wear and spotting. Includes the vintage “Here’s What’s Cookin’” Current Co. storage box shown. The box may not be original to the playing cards and also shows age and storage wear.
Wonderful for a playing-card collection, vintage display, crafts or junk journaling. From an estate sale with other vintage cards.
