This is a genuine piece of USSR propaganda textile art — machine-loom woven (not printed) in fine black-and-white thread, showing the recognizable engraved-style portrait technique typical of Soviet decorative weaving factories. The piece retains its original knotted fringe along the bottom edge.
Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition consistent with age. Please examine photos closely — there is visible fraying and thread loss along the top edge (see close-up images), along with light general soiling from age and storage. The fringe is intact.
