**Vintage Soviet Armenian Cognac "Surprise" Cigarette Dispenser / Holder**
Up for sale is a rare, authentic mid-century table souvenir produced in Yerevan, Armenian SSR during the Soviet era (circa 1960s-1970s). Styled to look exactly like a classic bottle of Armenian Cognac (Армения), this unique piece features a hidden pop-up carousel mechanism.
When you lift the neck bottle handle, a brass-plated inner elevator expands to reveal individual slots for cigarettes. The bottom is factory-embossed with authentic Soviet markings, including the factory name (ЭПТО "ЭКРАН"), origin (ЕРЕВАН), item article code (АРТ С-44), and the original state-regulated price of 10 Rubles (ЦЕНА 10Р).
**Condition Details:**
- Outer carbolite/bakelite plastic body is in excellent, glossy structural shape with no cracks or chips.
- Original teal paper/foil graphics remain highly legible and vibrant, showing only minor edge curling consistent with age.
- The mechanical lift rod moves smoothly and functions perfectly.
- **Note for collectors:** The original 50+ year old internal elastic bands that tension the cigarette holders have decayed over time and will need to be re-strung to hold cigarettes properly.
**Dimensions:**
- Height: 10 inches (approx. 25.5 cm) when closed.
Perfect addition to any barware collection, Soviet history display, or tobaccoriana collection!
