Classic American-made SLIP-N-SNIP compact folding scissors in excellent vintage condition.

These clever little scissors fold completely flat into a compact pocket-size shape, making them easy to keep in a purse, handbag, sewing kit, craft bag, tackle box, camping gear, first-aid kit, desk drawer, glove compartment, travel bag or everyday carry setup.

When needed, simply unfold the handles to create a full pair of functional scissors.

CONDITION:

Excellent vintage condition.

The folding mechanism works smoothly and correctly, the handles open and close as intended, and the scissors remain sharp and fully functional.

Tested and they cut extremely well — clean, smooth cutting performance that feels much like a new pair.

There is some visible age-related residue / discoloration on portions of the blade surfaces, shown clearly in the close-up photos. It appears to be primarily surface residue and could likely be improved or removed with careful, gentle cleaning or appropriate non-abrasive metal cleaning; however, I have intentionally left the blades untouched rather than risk altering the original finish.

No aggressive polishing or restoration has been attempted.
