A vintage advertising flyer for Seltzer’s Lebanon Bologna, “the original Lebanon Bologna,” tied to Pennsylvania Dutch Days promotions. The hand-lettered piece welcomes visitors to PA Dutch Days and encourages them to “take home a real Penna. Dutch delight,” touting the product as all beef and hickory smoked, with mail-order shipping available (including a note on safe summer shipment) — a nice period detail on how the smokehouse handled the heat.
The reverse features a charming hand-drawn regional map centered on Palmyra, PA (“the home of Seltzer’s Lebanon Bologna”), with routes and hand-illustrated icons marking nearby towns including Lebanon, Myerstown, Schaefferstown, Cornwall, Manheim, Lititz, Ephrata, Brickerville, Blue Ball, Lancaster, and Hershey — each town given a small decorative vignette (the Hershey chocolate factory, an outdoor market at Green Dragon, and others).
