This piece features an elegant square-pyramid lid, an intact original wooden handle, an easy-to-use thumb-lever latch, and sits on four ornate figural lion claw feet. The brass body holds an exceptionally bright, high-shine reflective polish.
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition overall. The interior is very clean, the hinge is tight, and the handle is secure. The underside base shows light, fine surface scuffs and minor hairlines consistent with age and careful handling, as shown in the close-up photos.
