Description : Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Savinelli Extra 814 KS estate tobacco pipe, crafted in Italy. This highly desirable "King Size" model features Savinelli’s classic half-bent Canadian shape, showcasing a long, elegant oval shank paired with a short, vulcanite taper stem that finishes with a very slight, comfortable downturned tip. The briar on this piece boasts a gorgeous cross-grain pattern with tightly packed birdseye wrapping around the sides of the bowl. The shank is clearly stamped with the "Savinelli Extra" oval logo on one side, and the authentic "S" shield crest, 814 KS, and ITALY nomenclature on the opposite side.
Condition: This is an estate pipe in excellent vintage condition. The nomenclature stamps are crisp, deep, and fully legible. The rim shows minimal wear, and the chamber is clean and solid. The original vulcanite stem has a deep black finish with a tight, flush fit to the mortise.
