This is a substantial Japanese-made survival knife featuring a large stainless-steel blade with a combination of cutting edge, sawback/notched spine and additional serrations. The blade is marked:

The knife has a black textured synthetic handle with finger grooves, full guard and large hexagonal-style pommel.
Includes the original-style black leather sheath shown in the photographs. The sheath is stamped “Genuine Leather / Made in U.S.A.” and features a belt loop, retaining strap and leather cord.
From the tape measurements shown, the knife measures approximately 15 inches overall, with approximately 9 inches from the guard to the blade tip.
Condition
Pre-owned vintage condition. The blade shows surface scratches, scuffs and signs of age/use. The handle remains attractive with normal age-related wear. The leather sheath shows wear, scratches, edge wear and aging consistent with use and storage.
Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the condition description.

I would definitely put A050 and Saburo Japan in the listing because those markings may be important to collectors.
The large hexagonal pommel unscrews to reveal a hollow storage compartment inside the handle. Included are the small survival accessories shown in the photos, including wire/fishing-related components. The removable pommel also incorporates a small compass.
These accessories appear to have been stored inside the handle and are included exactly as pictured. Due to age, the individual survival components and compass have not been independently tested.
This is an especially nice feature to have because many vintage survival knives turn up without their original internal accessories.
