Vintage Ruth Sherrod / Craftique ceramic goose figurine featuring a wonderful whimsical design with an open orange bill, expressive painted eyes and detailed molded feathers.
This is a substantial display piece measuring approximately 15” tall.
The goose has a glossy cream/white glazed finish with a bright orange open beak and black painted accents on the eyes and feet. The exaggerated expression gives this piece a lot of character and makes it stand out from more common vintage goose décor.
An original Ruth Sherrod foil label remains on the underside. The label shows considerable age and wear with portions missing, but enough remains to identify the maker.
