Vintage ROUTE 66 Santa Monica Bl Porcelain "Trapezoid" LA Street Sign, c. 1985
This is a 100% authentic retired sign that once graced the streets of Los Angeles as part of the famous Route 66.
At a large 36”x10”x1”, it is made of porcelain-coated steel with a thin hollow center and reflective lettering.
The angled outside edge of the sign gives it a trapezoidal shape, and thus its name.
Sign has scattered rust, porcelain chips, and some scratches consistent with age and usage.
