Vintage Norelco X-ray diffraction instrument manufactured by Philips Electronic Instruments, Mount Vernon, New York.
This appears to be a powder diffraction camera assembly intended for photographic X-ray diffraction measurements. Its cylindrical camera geometry is consistent with the Debye-Scherrer powder diffraction technique, in which X-ray film is positioned around the specimen to record diffraction patterns.
