This piece is composed of a heavy black resin-stone composite formulated to replicate the appearance and weight of traditional hand-carved argillite stone. The lid features a deeply molded, high-relief traditional formline design, complemented by additional relief carving wrapping around the exterior base walls. The interior basin floor retains its original bright red protective felt liner.
Dimensions (Approximate):
• Diameter: 6"
• Height: 3"
• Weight: Solid/Heavy composite composition
Condition Note:
This vintage item is in stable structural condition and exhibits typical minor signs of age, handling, and long-term shelf display. The main circular basin and separate lift-off lid are free of major breaks, fractures, or structural cracks. The interior red felt liner is fully intact and flat with no liquid staining or tears, showing only typical faint surface dust from storage. The matte black exterior shows only light superficial handling marks, tiny manufacturing pitting pores, and minor scuffing appropriate for its age.

• Classification: This is a molded commercial souvenir replica designed to look like stone; it is not an authentic hand-carved argillite stone artifact.
