A length of approximately 8” from spout tip to the outermost edge of the handle, a depth of 2.5”, a body width just shy of 4.5”, and a handle thickness of 3/4”. A single, small fracture can be found on the top edge of the boat’s opening, right of center, when spout is pointed left. While originally advertised as oven-proof by Paden City Pottery, because of the age of the item, we choose not to encourage buyers to test this out for themselves. The Paden City Pottery Company, a pottery company established in 1911, and closing its doors in 1953, was founded in the town of Paden city, West Virginia. It operated along the Ohio River, an area rich in natural clay deposit. Paden City Pottery produced over 400 patterns.
