This vintage pre-WWII Shawnee USA pottery smiley pig cookie jar features a floral pattern in yellow, white, and blue.

Shawnee pottery began in 1937 in Zanesville Ohio and closed in 1961. This cookie jar done in the Smiley pig character is in very good condition with some crazing and 1 small chip on the nose. It was made between 1937 & 1942. Notice the USA on the bottom. All dims are approximate. This color pattern is more rare. Smiley has a yellow scarf and gold buttons on the front & rear of his outfit. The buttons are painted in real 22k gold.
