Vintage Ouro Artesania Don Quixote Hand-Carved Wooden Figurine - Model No. 580 (Made in Spain)
Up for sale is a beautiful, mid-century modern hand-carved wooden statue of the legendary literary figure Don Quixote, crafted by the highly collectible Ouro Artesania workshops in Spain.
This piece features excellent angular, stylized chisel work characteristic of vintage Spanish folk art. Don Quixote is depicted in his classic stance with one hand over his heart, standing on a solid wooden block base. Made in the 1950s to 1960s.

- Material: Solid wood with a rich, natural warm brown patina
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition with no breaks, cracks, or deep gouges. The original maker's stamp is legible on the underside of the base. Faded where earthquake tack was used to anchor in to a surface. The wood retains a lovely sheen. Please look closely at all the photos to evaluate the condition for yourself before offerding or buying.
