The former owner was born in 1924 and immigrated to the US from Japan in the 1960s when she married an American. She likely brought this with her then, as a wedding gift and / or departure gift. She never traveled back to her home country.
Pre-owned, vintage. This has been packed away in a closet for several decades. Untested. There is tarnish, evident from former use. This should be considered a collectible / display item.
