Old England was one of Sasieni’s genuine subsidiary lines, made in England from the same mature, seasoned briar stock used throughout the factory.
Sasieni’s own period literature explains that these bowls had minor cosmetic imperfections that kept them from qualifying for Four-Dot status — but they were still subjected to the company’s inspection and grading standards and sold as serious smoking pipes in their own right.
Old England came in classic Sasieni shapes, with both smooth walnut and rugged rusticated finishes, giving buyers a way into proper Sasieni craftsmanship at a much more approachable price.

My shipping is a little more than some. I use UPS (unless it's going to a PO Box or non contiguous US) because UPS has a 98% success rate versus USPS at 87.5%. I have a dedicated UPS representative who goes above and beyond in the rare case there is a shipping issue. Three-ish dollars is worth the peace of mind in my opinion.
