Glamorous pair of vintage crystal candlesticks combining Oberglas Austrian cut crystal, Italian marble bases and ornate antiqued metal fittings, complete with tall clear lucite taper candles containing suspended gold-tone flakes.Each candlestick features a cut-crystal body identified as Oberglas Austria, mounted on a round white marble base bearing its original “Fine Marble Base Made in Italy” label. Ornate floral-form metal fittings surround the upper portion of each candlestick, with faceted hanging crystal prisms adding movement and sparkle.The original Austrian crystal label was present when photographed but subsequently detached during handling. Photographs documenting the label while still attached are included with the listing.The included vintage lucite taper candles are particularly striking, with clear tapered bodies containing suspended gold-tone flakes. Together with the candlesticks, they create an unusually dramatic display.Each candlestick measures approximately 7.75\" H × 4.5\" diameter without the candle.
Overall height with the included lucite candles is approximately 14.5\".Condition: Preowned vintage condition with age-related wear and patina to the metal components. One hanging teardrop crystal prism is missing. The remaining hanging crystals are present as photographed.
