Vintage Oaxaca Mexico Hand Embroidered Otami Tononga Birds Insects 74"x16" Gift For Sale

This vintage, hand embroidered otomi comes from Tenango de Doria municipality in Hidalgo, Mexico. The vibrant, detailed embroidery depicts birds, animals, and insects on a 74"x16" table runner or wall hanging. It was purchased in Mexico in 1998 at Tenanga de Doria while traveling through central Mexico. It is in very good condition. There are no stains or tears on the fabric and the embroidery is undamaged as well. The fabric and thread are 100% cotton and can be handwashed. Steaming works well for removing wrinkles.
