Vintage Nuova Capodimonte Italy Pink Rose Porcelain Candle Holders Pair 6”
Beautiful vintage Nuova Capodimonte porcelain rose candle holder pair, made in Italy. Each features a large dimensional pink and creamy-white rose surrounded by richly glazed green leaves and a small rosebud. The petals have wonderful molded texture and hand-applied color.
The two pieces are very similar in size and appearance but have different underside markings, suggesting they may have been produced at different times. One retains its original Nuova Capodimonte – Made in Italy foil label along with the blue Pegasus/horse factory mark. The other has a blue Nuova Capodimonte crown-style mark and is noticeably heavier than the labeled piece.
Each measures approximately 4” high x 6” wide.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. I do not see any chips or significant breaks. There is some age-related crazing, particularly visible on the underside. Please note that the roses have small intentional openings/notches within the center petals as part of their construction/design; these are present on the flowers and should not be mistaken for chips or damage. Because these are delicate, highly dimensional porcelain flowers, please review all photos closely for condition and details.
