Vintage Norway Flag Oslo Flaggfabrikk Suprem 150 Norwegian Sewn Nordic Cross For Sale

Norwegian national flag made by Oslo Flaggfabrikk of Oslo, Norway. Red field with a blue Nordic cross fimbriated in white, the cross built from separate sewn pieces with visible stitching. A woven label on the white twill heading reads Oslo Flaggfabrikk, Suprem, 150. The heading finishes with a braided rope loop at the top and a length of cord at the bottom, with reinforcing stitching at the loop end and no grommets. Woven cloth that appears to be cotton, with no fiber content marked. Second half of the twentieth century by style, though no date is marked. Measures approximately 59 by 40 inches. Condition: used but clean. The colors are strong, with fold creases, a few tiny flecks in the cloth and loose threads at the corners. Stitching is intact, and the heading and cord are sound.
