Height: Approx. 6.5 inchesFull Description:Up for sale is a highly collectible piece of American art pottery:Vintage Niloak #71 Art Deco \"Tilt-Ball\" pitcher/jug featuring its incredibly rare, original matching ceramic-capped cork stopper.Produced in Benton, Arkansas during the 1930\"s Hywood era, it showcases Niloak\'s iconic, glossy \"Cinnamon\" brown glaze.It features spherical geometric silhouette, an off-center ice-lip pouring spout,and a distinct angular handle that defines the Art Deco aesthetic of the period.The bottom is clearly stamped with the authentic \"Niloak #71 Benton Ark.\" maker\'s mark.While these ball jugs are hard enough to find on their own,finding one that retains its original cork stopper with matching glazed ceramic top is exceptionally rare.
Body & Glaze: Excellent vintage condition. This pitcher is entirely free of chips or cracks,
- The glossy glaze remains bright and vibrant.
- Stopper: The original ceramic top with no chips or cracks.
- Some of the photos make it look two-toned but it is just the shadow/glare
- of photos. Not professional at taking glare free photos.
- The jug and stopper are the same brown color.
