This is a neat older mechanical stapling tool with an all-metal construction, spring-loaded handles and textured grip area. The tool is marked NEVA-CLOG on the handle and Neva-Clog Products Incorporated around the mechanism. It is also marked Patent Pending.
The mechanism has been operated by hand and moves smoothly and returns properly. It has not been tested with staples, so actual stapling performance is not guaranteed.
A great piece for a vintage tool collection, old office equipment display, workshop décor or industrial advertising/tool collection.
