* **Mechanical Status:** The mechanical wind-up music box on the base is fully functional and in excellent working order. When wound using the key, it features a classic lift-activated plunger sensor: the melody plays delightfully when you pick up the teapot to pour and automatically pauses the moment you set it back down on a flat surface.
