Vintage Moissiadis Greek Enamel Art Set 4 Folk Art Coasters Plates Hand Drawn
Welcome to my store! I am so incredibly glad you stopped by today to check out this fantastic find.
Up for sale is a beautiful set of 4 vintage Moissiadis Greek Enamel Art small plates or coasters. Each dish features a completely unique, hand-drawn traditional folk art design in warm orange and brown tones over a cream enamel base. The set includes classic cultural motifs: a traditional dancing couple, an ancient sailing ship, a folk art rooster, and a stunning floral heart medallion.
Condition:
This set is in great pre-owned vintage condition with lots of charm! The colorful center designs are bright, vivid, and beautifully intact. Because these are vintage enamel over metal, there are some small enamel chips and "flea bites" around the black outer rims (please zoom in on all photos for exact condition details). They measure approximately 3.8 inches in diameter.
Created in Greece during the mid-20th century, Moissiadis enamelware celebrated traditional Greek culture and folklore. These pieces were often sold in Athens and the Greek islands as vibrant, handcrafted souvenirs. The "drawn by hand" technique gives each piece a charming, rustic authenticity that is highly sought after by mid-century folk art collectors today. They make wonderful decorative trinket dishes, drink coasters, or small display plates for an eclectic gallery wall!
Shipping:
We know how important careful packaging is, so your items will be securely packed with plenty of padding to ensure they arrive safely. This item will ship promptly via your choice of USPS Ground Advantage or FedEx Ground.
Thank you so much for taking the time to check out this listing! I truly appreciate your business and your support. Please consider returning to my store and giving me a follow so you don't miss out on any of my future unique vintage finds!
