• Design Inspiration: Dressed in a retro 1961 style, the figure replicates the classic vintage "Registered Nurse" Barbie outfit (#954), featuring a traditional white nurse's uniform, matching cap, dark blue cape with a red lining, and a tiny medicine bottle and spoon in hand.
• Functionality: Modeled after classic French Limoges-style treasure boxes, the circular pedestal stand functions as a hinged keepsake/trinket box.
• The Hidden Trinket: When unclasped, the box opens to reveal a miniature porcelain accessory inside—specifically, a tiny hot water bottle.
• Collection: Released in2001as an officially licensed Mattel product, it belonged to a highly collectible "Nostalgic Series" line of Barbie PHBs featuring early iconic outfits (such as Busy Gal, Solo in the Spotlight, and Commuter Set). The entire Midwest of Cannon Falls PHB collection has since been retired, making these sought-after vintage items on secondhand collector markets.
