Here we have up for sale is a vintage Magic trick:
The Giant and the Dwarf was created by the well-known British magic inventor and dealer, Jack Hughes, based upon a Len Belcher idea with a routine by Sydney Sterk.
Some versions which are very hard to find were made for Hughes by Merv Taylor out of Hollywood which is what we have here before It was then licensed to Supreme Magic company.
The figures and castle are painted but do have some chips and scuffs but doesn’t take away from all original pieces and paint!! LOOK AT PICS THEY SHIW CONDITION
The Merv Taylor Hollywood Label is all original but has some small creases.
THERE ARE NO INSTRUCTIONS BUT CAN BE FOUND I’M SURE SOMEWHERE!!
The box is in excellent shape but has a small separation in 1 corner of the box as seen in the pics but it does not go all the way down again look at pics.
Box has wear as this is from the mid 1950’s
The apparatus supplied consists of The Castle, which is made on the Ghost Tube principle, having a secret compartment at the rear and can be shown empty at all times if held with bottom end towards the audience, allowing clear vision through.
You are also supplied with painted cut-out figures of the Dwarf, elongated legs to which Dwarf can be fitted, a large Giant and a diminished Giant, plus two bases which will support the figures in an upright the figures and castle again have some wear.
