Vintage Meredith Edwards 1997 The Christmas Goose Jester Collector’s Doll For Sale

This doll was created by Albuquerque artist Meredith Edwards in 1997. The “elf” has curled feet, a plump midriff, white hair, a white beard, white paint flakes on his nails meant to represent cuticles, wide blue eyes and an expression of imminent surprise as if he were caught doing something naughty or he was just “goosed” (pinched on his behind). His tunic (and hat with bell) is made of a pattern of multi-colored Christmas light bulbs and his leggings are maroon with white dots. He comes with a Meredith Edwards business card and handwritten description of this name on the back. A unique holiday gift or decorative home piece. This doll is designed to sit upright on a ledge. 14” in length. Head and hands are made of resin.
