Vintage Melba Triple Vanity Compact Handle Hammered Gold Tone Patented 1924 For Sale

Offered is a gorgeous triple vanity with a handle. Probably a dance compact. Originally designed without a lipstick. The lipstick was added by and patented by PA Ruetter in 1924.

Features a hammered gold tone finish on the case, and marked Melba near the opening, as well as has the M logo on each corner on the top. Inside the compact there’s a slot for rouge, powder, and for a mini lipstick. Powder and rouge are present, but there’s no lipstick. Both original puffs are present. Mirror is clear and silvering is in good condition. This compact has a ribbon loop attached at the closure to enable holding while dancing. One side has a bit of darkness on the top corner but does not detract at all from the vanity. Measures 2.0” x 3.5”. Octagon shaped. 5.0” strap drop. Great vanity in great condition and over 100 years old.
