Description
✅ Vintage McArthur Dairy promotional safety clipboard featuring workplace first aid, CPR, choking, bleeding control, and proper lifting instructions.
This is a terrific piece of old-school commercial advertising and workplace safety history. The clipboard appears to have been made for drivers, delivery personnel, warehouse workers, plant employees, or other McArthur Dairy staff who needed both a functional writing surface and quick-reference safety information while on the job.
The top metal clip features the classic red McArthur Dairy logo along with the slogan:
“Plan a safer way today!”
The front is packed with illustrated emergency instructions, while the reverse focuses on safe lifting practices. It has the wonderfully utilitarian look of something that probably rode around in a delivery truck or hung in a work area for years.
📋 Front Side Details
First Aid for Choking
Instructions for conscious and unconscious victims
Back blows and abdominal/stomach thrust illustrations
Control Bleeding
Direct-pressure instructions
Femoral and brachial artery pressure-point diagrams
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Chest-compression illustrations
Bottom slogan: “MAKE THE FIRST MOVE COUNT”
⚠️ The medical instructions are vintage and reflect first-aid practices of their era. They should be considered historical information only and not used as current medical guidance.

Carry loads close to the body
Keep the back as straight as possible
Lift with leg and arm muscles rather than the back
