🏔️ MANHATTAN COFFEE HISTORY
Manhattan Coffee was a St. Louis, Missouri coffee brand with a fascinating mid-century history. Businessman and adventurer Dana Brown became closely associated with Manhattan Coffee and eventually acquired the company. Brown later became known for incorporating footage from his African expeditions into coffee advertising and television promotions.
These two different package styles make a particularly attractive pair for displaying together and are great examples of colorful mid-century American grocery advertising.
⭐ CONDITION
Both tins are in nice vintage display condition with strong, colorful graphics.
As expected from genuine vintage advertising containers, there is age-related wear including scratches, scuffs, marks, rim/edge wear and areas of finish loss. The 5¢ promotional lid also shows age/use wear and marking.
