This is a vintage, unused, Mahon Made "Party Animal" Pig Mug. This highly collectible, artist-signed piece is a classic example of 1980s American studio pottery. It is both signed and has the artist’s mark carved into the base, see photo. The mug shows no signs of wear, with no chips, fleabites or cracks. It is roughly 8.5 inches tall and 3.5 inches in diameter. This particular design features a sculpted pig face wearing a "Party Animal" hat, and is often associated with San Diego, CA. Made from stoneware pottery in the United States, this limited edition, artist-signed, piece is a must-have for collectors.
