Vintage Magnavox Model AM-84 All Transistor portable AM radio offered as a particularly complete collector set with its original box, leather carrying case, headphones, headphone case, warranty paperwork, original plastic, interior packaging materials, and both the replacement and older battery holders.

This radio was tested and is working. It powers on, produces audio, and the tuning and on/off controls operate.

• Radio is in very nice overall vintage cosmetic condition.

• Front presents especially well with its original Magnavox branding, crest emblem, perforated metal grille, dial window, and metallic trim.

• Small scuff is present beneath the “M” area of the Magnavox nameplate.

• Front grille and metal surfaces have minor scuffs, scratches, spots, and normal age-related wear.

• Black cabinet remains in very nice overall condition.

• Minor scuffs, scratches, and marks are present around the cabinet from age and previous use.

• Dial window and frequency display remain intact and presentable.

• Area immediately beside the on/off control has a small exposed white/light-colored section, as shown in the close-up photograph.

• It is unclear whether this light-colored section represents a tiny chip, finish loss, or part of the original control construction, so it is being specifically disclosed without making a definitive claim.

• No major cracks or structural cabinet damage were observed beyond the wear specifically described.

BATTERY HOLDER / INTERIOR:

• A replacement battery holder is currently installed in the radio.
