Vintage MV KANIMBLA sailors Cup Rare Collectible For Sale

Unknown type of metal. Possible silver plated? No stamp. Likely from the M.V. Kanimbla. Engraved “tinker”. Also at the bottom is “deck quoits” a reference to a game sailors or deckhands play. Very cool piece of maritime history. Appears to be authentic magic
Medallion. Anchor handle. I have not found any more info on the history of it. At some point someone self engraved 1955 at the bottom and maybe 4-1-55. Feel free to ask questions and I can try and help.
