Up for sale is an iconic piece of space-age design: an original Korex Electro-Match Model 3H "Atomic Globe" table lighter. This is a completely authentic, unglued piece—there are absolutely no cracks, breaks, or glued repairs to the main black orb body.I have chosen to leave this piece completely untouched and in its original found condition rather than risking any accidental damage by attempting to clean it.
Tested and functional. When the stylus wand is pulled, the electronic ignition triggers consistently and creates a strong, bright spark!
The black body has a beautiful gloss. The gold pinstripe band wrapping around the center shows wear and is peeling at one place as pictured from handling over the decades. This is a fantastic, honest candidate for a collector who appreciates finding items in their true, original state. Sold as-is in vintage condition. Will ship without lighter fluid or batteries to comply with shipping regulations. Please review all photos carefully for cosmetic condition.
