Up for sale is a beautiful Vintage Martin's Patent Round Bottom Spokeshave / Curved Sole Woodworking Tool, complete with its original factory-correct blade. Designed for fluidly shaving concave profiles, wheel spokes, chair legs, and contoured wooden surfaces.
Condition Details:
Body: The authentic cast iron body features the bold, crisp "MARTIN'S" branding raised on the cap piece.
Hardware: Complete with both original flathead adjustment screws, which tighten smoothly to hold the blade firmly in place.
Original Blade: Included is the rare, original steel blade. It is stamped "WARRANTED" over a faint and (barley) legible "CIN'TI TOOL CO" manufacturer mark, perfectly matching the frame's production history. The blade fits neatly into the bed and throat slot.
The blade is in decent to good condition with only one small blemish/ surface flake on one end of the edge. This is NOT a large chip and would be easily eliminated once the blade is sharpened.
