Vintage professional Pacific Northwest logging / timber-falling wedge set featuring multiple wedges from Double Taper Wedge Co. of Washougal, Washington, a regional maker closely associated with professional forestry and logging equipment.
The lot includes several Double Taper plastic and aluminum felling wedges, a Power Hardy/Hard Head-style wedge, a heavy-duty leather faller’s wedge pouch, and a vintage USGI LC-2 nylon equipment belt dated 1983.
The wedges show substantial authentic working wear from field use, including dirt, staining, impact marks, edge wear, and some chipped or mushroomed areas. The leather pouch has age, staining, and wear but retains the classic look of a working logger’s setup.
The belt also shows normal age and use.
This is a great group for collectors of Pacific Northwest logging history, forestry tools, chainsaw accessories, vintage lumberjack equipment, or Washington State industrial memorabilia. The Washougal, Washington Double Taper markings give the set especially strong regional appeal.
