Fabulous vintage Lipper & Mann ceramic candle holders, made in Japan and hand-painted in cheerful red and green candy-cane stripes. This charming four-piece set spells NOEL and makes a wonderful nostalgic addition to a Christmas mantel, table centerpiece, shelf, or holiday vignette.
Each letter measures approximately 3 inches tall and features classic mid-century styling with festive holly accents.
The set is in excellent vintage condition overall. There is light age-appropriate paint wear, some crazing, and minor wax residue. The “N” appears to have some candle residue near the top. I do not aggressively clean vintage pieces because I do not want to risk damaging the original paint or finish.
There are no chips, cracks, or staining noted, and the set displays beautifully.
