Description
Charming vintage Limoges France porcelain covered trinket box featuring an elaborate hand-painted floral design in soft pink, lavender, blue, green and white.
The domed lid is especially pretty, with a raised dimensional pink rose surrounded by violets/daisies and other delicate flowers. The floral center is framed by a pearlescent pink border decorated with raised roses and scrolling white accents. Matching decoration continues around the sides of the box.
The underside is marked “Limoges France,” and the interior/base also bears what appears to be a hand-painted “P.S.” decorator or artist mark.
A lovely little piece for a Limoges collection, vanity display, jewelry storage, or cottage/shabby-chic décor.
