JosephLodge - the founder - opened the first foundry in the Appalachian Mountains.This company was originallynamed The Blacklock Foundry afterLodge\'s minister. That foundry burned down in 1910 but was rebuilt, close by,and re-opened as LODGE Manufacturing Co.

Size Numbers – could be found on the handle-top orbase of the pan.

Made in USA – began in the mid to late 1960’s
