rare, beautifully preserved piece of Latter-day Saint historical church media: an original Vintage LDS Seminary / Book of Mormon Daily Media Kit. Produced by the Church Educational System (CES) Department of Seminaries in the mid-1970s, this synchronized mixed-media collection was distributed to high school seminary classrooms and institute programs.The exterior of the sturdy storage box features a striking, stylized canary-yellow cover showcasing the legendary Book of Mormon character portraiture of famed artist Arnold Friberg.What This Kit Includes:This retro instructional kit utilizes a classic multi-media approach designed for 1970s classroom equipment:14 Total 35mm Filmstrip Reels: Individually rolled inside their bright yellow protective plastic canisters (numbered 1 through 14).Vinyl LP Records: Standard 12-inch 33 1/3 RPM records featuring professional multi-cast voice dramatizations, narrations, background ambiance, and musical scoring. The audio includes audible chime cues directing teachers when to manually advance the filmstrip frames on their school projectors.Condition Details:Exterior Box: Good vintage condition with vibrant yellow color alignment. Displays typical light age-related edge wear, surface scuffing, and corner blunting from original storage use.Internal Media: Very clean. Film canisters are structurally sound with cleanly numbered plastic caps.
