Up for sale is a fantastic piece of local Missouri history! This is an original, antique glass seltzer bottle (soda siphon) from the Joplin Coca-Cola Bottling Company, dating back to the 1920s or 1930s during the golden era of the historic Route 66.
The front of the heavy glass features a beautifully preserved, etched logo for the Joplin plant. It stands just under 11.5 inches tall.

I am not a professional bottle expert, so please look closely at the photos to see the exact condition.
- The Glass: The outer glass body is thick, sturdy, and free of any major cracks or breaks. It has some normal vintage cloudiness/dust on the inside from decades of storage.
- The Siphon Top: The metal top is original but is completely frozen/sealed onto the glass neck. I cannot get it to budge or unscrew.
- The Internal Straw: The glass straw inside the bottle is broken/detached. The broken pieces are safely contained inside the bottle but rattle around.
Because of the broken internal straw and frozen lid, this bottle is being sold as-is for decorative, historical display only. It would make an incredible addition to a Route 66 collection, a local Joplin history display, or a vintage home bar setup!
Shipping: This is a heavy item and contains loose glass inside. I will pack it with extreme care using heavy bubble wrap and double-box it so it arrives to you safely.
