This is vintage Japanese porcelain kingfisher figurine in excellent condition. This beautiful piece features a highly detailed, textured multi-color glaze designed to mimic the look of traditional Asian cloisonné enamelware and features a striking blue crown, detailed green and rust-brown wings, and a vibrant orange beak.
The bird is perched on a stylized rocky base that includes built-in hollow chambers. This functional design makes it perfect for use as a decorative figurine, an incense stick burner, a vanity makeup brush holder, or a unique desk pen stand.
