Beautiful vintage Italian cast brass wall candle sconce, featuring an elaborate Rococo-inspired design with sweeping acanthus leaves, scrolling foliage and two candle arms.
The back is clearly marked “MADE IN ITALY” and bears the hand-incised “Tommi” signature.
The sconce has a substantial cast construction with detailed relief work and an attractive aged brass patina. Its dramatic asymmetrical foliage gives it a wonderful Rococo Revival / Hollywood Regency appearance.
Designed to hold two taper candles and to be displayed as a decorative wall-mounted candleholder.
