This is a highly collectible vintage IKEA "Stoja" wall lamp from the late 1980s / early 1990s. This iconic postmodern fixture perfectly captures the playful, geometric aesthetic of the Memphis Milano design movement popularized by Ettore Sottsass.
Features a white semicircular metal backing plate, a bold blue wooden triangle deflector, and a striking red base block. It casts a wonderful, soft ambient glow when lit.
• Dimensions: Standard Stoja wall sconce sizing (approx. 7.5" H x 8.5" W)
• Cord: White cord with inline power switch (note cosmetic missing button cap as described below).
A fantastic statement piece for any mid-century modern, retro, or postmodern pop art interior!
Good vintage condition with minor signs of cosmetic wear. There are some light surface scuffs and minor paint loss on the blue triangular panel, the red base edge, and the white backing plate, consistent with age and use. Please note: The original decorative plastic cover/cap for the inline cord switch button is missing (the switch itself still functions, but the cosmetic button shell is absent). Original wiring and plug are intact. Please see all photos for details.
