Vintage Hedi Schoop Art Creations ceramic swan planter/bowl, dating to the mid-century era, circa 1950s.
This sculptural swan features a pink to rose-colored glazed interior and body accented with metallic gold luster. The stylized form includes a raised head and beak, sculpted wings and tail, and an open center suitable for use as a planter, decorative bowl or centerpiece.
The underside bears the impressed Hedi Schoop signature.
Hedi Schoop was an important California ceramic designer whose studio produced decorative figurines, planters, bowls, vases and other giftware during the mid-20th century. Documented examples from approximately 1950–1955 were produced in cast earthenware with glazed and luster finishes.

Good vintage pre-owned condition with wear consistent with age. There are no chips, cracks or repairs.
The pink/rose and metallic gold-luster finish has an intentionally mottled and speckled appearance characteristic of the decorative treatment.
